Someone's been a bad blogger

And I think it's me! I've been amazinlgy busy with all kinds of stuff, but I regret not blogging. It's such an outlet and I love to write. Well, here's me trying to update.

First of all, I've started my second year at university and as much fun as it is, it is also a lot of work. I have 15 hours of classes a week, but it takes twice as much time to read all the literature and make all the assignments. I study Romance Languages & Culture, which is a whole mouthful of saying I study Spanish culture, but with some sidetracks to related cultures like Italian, French, Portuguese etc. I also study Film, at the moment film history. I absolutely adore anything that has to do with movies :)

This is the university that I attend. Impressive right? It was built in 1909! Oh and that grey mass on the academy square are bikes: Groningen is a bikelovers' city and this isn't even half of all the students' bikes!

Then there was the swapping thing... I am (together with a friend) in charge of organizing swaps on the Dutch Dollhouse Forum. Click here if you want to check it out. You may not understand our babbling, but the miniatureworld is a world of photos. And pictures there are....loads! It's fun organising swaps, but can be time consuming, so that's another thing I've been doing.

More time consuming things, though less fun, are the fact that I had the flue (not The Flue everyone is talking about) and that my mother's dog died. Ricky was my childhood buddy and was with us from 6 weeks old until she passed away last friday. She was old (14 years) and worn out: her hips hurt a lot and when after three days of agony painkillers didn't have effect, my mother took a decision to have her put down. It's weird that she's no longer running around everywhere my mom goes, but I believe it's best.

I've been swapping myself too! I made cupcakes, a loveletter and a cupcakebox for 12 ladies. I felt like a one woman factory LOL! But that was all for the creative outburst I had, not enough time to make anything else :( I hope to have more time soon!!
