Yesterday

I was having such a fun night out with some friends. There was a festival in town called the Night of Art and Science that involves all kinds of live music, art exhibitions, lectures and cool interactive games (you could have your heartrate matched to someone else's, the museum of modern art was open, there were short plays and so much more). We were listening to a concert of the Dutch band Go Back To The Zoo. Watch the video below if you're curious.

After one of the songs we went to get drinks and meet up with my boyfriend who was also on his way. Somehow, I took a wrong step and twisted my knee. My kneecap popped out. OUCH! I had the same thing happen when I was 16 so I knew how to pop it back in, so I did. We went to the first aid post and got some help. I went home in a taxi and slept crappy because I had to lie on my back. The knee is okay today, no kneebands are ripped, it's just swollen, a little painful and stiff. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to see what else I can do.
Apparently, I'm not allowed to have a fun night out... This was my first try in three months. At least I got to see some cool stuff before the fall!

  2. Thanks Kim! It's alright I guess. The doctor told me yesterday I have to take it easy for three weeks (no running, working etc) and after that make another appointment. I get around on crutches pretty good. I'm just not used to pressure my arms so now I have some muscle pain in them lol!
