Finally the winner

I'm back from my trip and healthy as a horse. So I treated sweet little Luna to some playtime with paper pellets. She loves those and even wakes up when she hears someone fiddling with paper. So I thought it would be nice to let her pick a winner for the giveaway :)
I loved reading all of your comments and visiting your blogs. That accounts for all of my new followers by the way, there's 70 of you now! Really makes me happy :D It's so much fun browsing blogs and finding out what keeps people going.
And I have so much to show you! Let's do that first and keep the tension of the giveaway winner going...

As said, I was at a friend's house who has her own international dollhouse business. She sells (swarovski) beads and metal ornaments small enough to fit a dollhouse. She also designs and sells lamps for the dollhouse, which are amazing I think. Thirdly she sells kits so you can build your own lamp or decoration for the dollhouse. We created some lamps together last week and we had a blast doing it! I'll show you the pictures of the things I made and you can visit her website here: http://www.nalladris.eu/
If you want to try your hand at making lamps, this is a great opportunity. Sun is helpful and friendly and willing to ship worldwide.
As this is my blog I'm allowed to advertise a little for an awesome friend right? :)

Now for the pictures!
I got my hands on some gold beads and those got my creative juices flowing. The house is going to have a fishy/underwatery/seasidish feel about it so I made a mobile with litterally 'gold'fish.

One of my favourite kinds of fish is the veiltail goldfish. They are elegant and squat at the same time and I can spend hours watching their veiltails glide through the water. So I made a veiltail lamp with koi colours for the living room. She meisures about 4cm or 1.5 inch and has a little light in her body.

Then I remembered I had an owl theme for the little girls bedroom so I made an owl bedside lamp for that. It just screamed white and pink with an overdosis of cute :) It measures less than an inch, about 1cm and also has a little light in the body.

And to show you an example of what my friend Sun was working on while I was with her: her newest shabby chic chandelier, with real light of course! It measures about 6 cm or 2.5 inch and features swarovski teardrop pendants. The picture really doesn't do them justice as they sparkle beautifully in real life.

Since this was still a vacation week for me and I painted the larger part of the house last week, I worked on the little girls room. There's still now windows and many holes in the ceiling, but that didn't stop me from designing and putting in some miniatures I've collected over the years. I made a modern desk with shelves from wood and plastic. Here's a little blurry (not happy with this) preview.

Okay okay I'll satisfy your curiosity and draw a winner now. Or actually, two winners! I gave Luna the pile of pellets and she walked off with two of them in her mouth. I didn't catch that on camera though. After stealing them away from her I read two names:

Kim
and LeJenMiniatures! Congratulations! Please email me your address at wittedraak (at) live (dot) nl
I will start working on your gifts today and I'll let you know when they go in the mail.

Well, I'm off creating now. See you soon :)
